Also, please encourage your fellows to submit a case for presentation as part of the 2008 Clinical Track. The best fellow case presentation will be recognized with an award and cash prize during the SEACSM Chapter Luncheon on Saturday February 16th. Instructions for submitting cases will be listed during the fall of 2007- please note the deadline for case submissions will be announced in the fall of 2007.
Deadline for case submissions is December 15, 2007 for the 2008 meeting. Send case submissions (Microsoft Word Document e-mail attachment) directly to Dr. Tracy Ray at : boxford@asmi.org (Becky Oxford is Tracy's asst. at ASMI). Case Submission Abstract Format (500 word limit - not including title): Title of Case, History (To include history of present illness, past medical history, medications, allergies, etc), Physical examination, Differential diagnosis list, Data (To include diagnostic tests performed and results, laboratory studies performed and results, etc), Final working diagnosis and treatment, and Outcome. Authors of cases that are accepted for presentation during SEACSM Clinical Track wil be notified by Friday January 11, 2008.

The 2008 SEACSM Clinical Case Award Winner was won by Jeffrey B. Roberts, MD. He is from the Duke University program in Durham, NC.
The 2007 SEACSM Clinical Case Award Winner was won by Jason Blackham from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University (sports med fellow) in Greenville NC.
