The members of the 2012 SEACSM Clinical Track Planning
Committee are Kyle J. Cassas, MD, FACSM (Chair); W. Franklin Sease, MD
(Vice-Chair); Kenneth Barnes, MD; Sean Bryan, MD; Rob Hosey, MD; Dave Sealy,
MD; Chad Asplund, MD; Heather Fullerton, MD; and Charles Lascano, MD. We
invite sports medicine fellowship directors, faculty members, fellows, sports
medicine physicians in private practice, physical therapists and athletic
trainers to join us at the 2012 SEACSM Annual Meeting's Clinical Track on
February 10th and 11th at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful
downtown Jacksonville, FL. The theme of the 2012 Clinical Track will be
“Issues in Pediatric Sports Medicine and the Masters/Aging Athlete”
We also ask that sports medicine fellowship directors encourage your fellows to
submit a case for presentation as part of the 2012 Clinical Track. The
best fellow case presentation will be recognized with an award and cash prize
during the SEACSM Chapter Luncheon on Saturday February 11th.Deadline for case abstract submissions is
Monday, November 19th at 5 PM ET for the 2012 meeting. Please send case
submissions (Microsoft Word Document as e-mail attachment) directly to Dr. Franklin Sease at fsease@ghs.org.Required format for case
abstract submissions is as follows (500 word limit, not including title): Title
of Case, History (to include history of present illness, past medical history,
medications, allergies, etc.), Physical Examination, Differential Diagnosis
List, Data (to include diagnostic tests performed and results, laboratory
studies performed and results, etc.), Final Working Diagnosis and Treatment,
and Outcome. Authors of cases that are accepted for presentation during
the 2012 SEACSM Clinical Track will be notified by Friday December 20th.

2008 SEACSM Clinical Award Winner: was Jeffrey B. Roberts, MD. He is from the Duke University program in Durham, NC.
2007 SEACSM Clinical Award Winner: was Jason Blackham from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University (sports med fellow) in Greenville NC.
2006 SEACSM Clinical Award Winner: was Stefanie Shaver, MD from the Southwest Georgia Sports Medicine Program .
